MAXIMA I/II – Table-type boring machine for high-capacity machining of large workpieces
MAXIMA I and MAXIMA II are the top of the range in the table-type horizontal boring machines category. They are designed for machining workpieces with extreme weight and dimensions that conventional centres cannot handle. Thanks to the massive stand, extending ram with vertical axis movement and extending Ø130 mm spindle, the MAXIMA can handle milling, drilling and boring with maximum accuracy.
Typical use includes the production of machine tool frames, turbine housings, gearboxes, power engineering structures, mining equipment and large castings. In addition, MAXIMA II offers a wide range of rotary tables and a palette change system. Thanks to the universal interface, it offers the application of different types of replaceable milling heads, enabling comprehensive part machining in a single clamping.
A machine designed for the highest demands
The MAXIMA is designed as a flexible production unit with optional automatic change of tools, milling heads and other technological accessories. It enables integration to automated production systems.
Due to its high rigidity and precise design, the machine is ideal for operations that require stable performance for long-term machining of large parts up to 50 tonnes.
Key benefits:
Machining of extremely large and heavy workpieces – without losing accuracy
Extending Ø130 mm spindle – suitable for drilling and boring operations
Vertically adjustable spindle with extending ram – the extended ram and spindle can reach beyond the rotary table centre
Extended options for MAXIMA II – universal use according to the applied milling heads
Rigid structure and stability – for high load and multi-shift operation
